Acetal (polyoxymethylene or POM) is a high strength, low friction engineering plastic that has excellent wear properties in both wet and dry environments. Acetal is chemically resistant to hydrocarbons, solvents and neutral chemicals.

Acetal has excellent machinability and makes an outstanding choice for applications that require complex, tight tolerances. Acetal is also known as Delrin®, SUSTARIN®, and TECAFORM®. Suitable for direct contact with food.

High strength, rigidity and toughness. Good impact strength including to low temperatures. Cut-to-Size, Fabrication and Bespoke sizes.
