Carel Weight RA, CBE 1908-1997 Original RCA Signed in ink for me Limited Edition

Professor Carel Weight RA CBE. A GREAT artist & true friend, a book writen by his friend Robin Bynoe will be out shortly, and Carel created this print as a fundraiser for the Royal College of Art where he was one of the tutors, teaching artists like David Hockney REA (always dont understand why he is not a SIR like another pupil Peter Blake). Anyway, the edition was 650 and they are on a heavy gloss paper, but sadly about 300 got damp and stuck together like concrete. IF you already know his work you wont be surprised that he often renamed pictures if he exhibited them more than once so people did not know it had been unsold before - so this one has two official titles "The Garden of Eden" and "The Snake". It has been exhibited in numerous museum shows of Carel's work including the Retrospective in 2000 at the Bankside Galery which we organised.
