Dr Who'The Fob Watch' Limited Edition Print from Department Six

Department Six Doctor Who Concept Artwork. Department Six Doctor Who Concept Artwork (Limited Edition). Department Six are a collaboration of concept artists who created the visuals and concepts for the long running TV series Doctor Who. The images are working drawings and have been converted to beautiful pieces of art delivered to you in a presentation box signed by Ed Thomas (Head of Production) and each of the concept artists. The presentation is enhanced by Gallifreyan text tissue paper and a certificate of authenticity with BBC Worldwide holographic logo.

Each Image is in a Limited Edition of 500. This Image -'The Fob Watch' is No:24 of 500. The reason I have this in my possession is simple - some years ago I used to supply Huge Format Digitally printed backdrops to Dr Who production teams based in Cardiff and would often visit the studios to discuss whatever they needed for upcoming episodes, including stuff for Torchwood and other productions. The Fob watch appeared in a few episodes which featured the 10th doctor played by David Tennant who I had the pleasure of meeting along with'Rose Tyler' (Billie Piper) on a day that I was at the studies.

I had asked my contact at the studios if they had'some Dr Who random memorabilia stuff' for the grandkids etc, some time later I received a box full of Dr Who figurines (different characters) & postcards along with this boxed presentation limited edition print of the'Fob watch' - needless to say the grandkids never got it! I thought I would hang on to it as it was sure to go up in value.. But I have no need for it and you never know it could be an investment for sombody. Or it could go to a true Dr Who fan!
